To mark its 13th anniversary, Fondazione con il Sud launched the event ‘Con il Sud Che Fa#’.
From 7 to 9 August 2019, we brought journalists and foundation representatives to discover the slow but rock revolution taking place in Castelbuono.
It was an opportunity to learn more about the grassroots development model promoted by Fondazione con il Sud, one that actively engages the community and takes shape in several projects still active today. The journey included several stops: the Fattoria del Sorriso di Nataluccio, which actively engages young people with special needs and teaches them to care for animals; Agrietica, a social farming project that promotes the workplace integration of disadvantaged individuals; the Consorzio Manna Madonita, which handles the harvesting and marketing of manna; and the Tutti Inclusi project, aimed at making the Ypsigrock Festival and other cultural attractions in Castelbuono more accessible.
